Young artist promoting Uttarakhand’s culture

Rajesh Chandra a young artist from Rishikesh who participated in Guinness Book Event on 3rd June 2018 is spreading Uttarakhand’s  Art and culture through his paintings.

Rajesh has made the State proud by spreading the Uttarakhand Art to other places like Mount Abu, Jabalpur, Haridwar through his street art.


The artist participated in Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur Street Art Festival where he showcased the art and culture of Uttarakhand for which he was honoured by Chief Minister.

The young artist has not restricted his paintings on Uttarakhand’s art rather through his paintings in Haridwar he gave a good message of saving the holy river Ganga.

Rajesh told eNewsDesk after his paintings on Ganga he was featured in a documentary film on Ganga “Rag Rag Me Ganga” which was telecasted on Doordarshan recently. He told at present he is doing wall painting of a school in Rishikesh on which he will depict about Char dham and Garhwal region. His motive is that the youth of our country knows about Uttarakhand’s Culture.
