16 complaints were registered during the Grievance redressal camp that was presided by DM Uttarkashi Dr Ashish Chauhan and held at district auditorium in Uttarkashi on Monday.

The DM heard the complaints of each complainant and expedited most of the grievances on the spot in presence of the officials present. Kedar Lal said that he has been served bill of Rs 61 thousand for past 15 years by electricity department whereas he does not have any electricity connection from past 15 years. DM directed the Executive Engineer electricity department to resolve the issues within seven days and submit the report of the matter Dharma Devi from Gajoli demanded financial assistance for the treatment of her daughter Shivani who is Divyang to which the DM directed Doctor Sujata to take the matter seriously and ensure the medical treatment to the  Divyang Shivani. 80-year-old Budh Singh from Junga complaint that despite having two children there was no one to fend for him and demanded the financial relief. DM directed the SDM to investigate the matter and taking legal recourse assist the person.

 Seema from Jagad Gaon Chinyali Saud alleged that the wrongful appointment has been dome on the vacant post of Anganwadi worker to which DM directed the CDO to investigate the matter. Mrs. Semwal from Gyansu complaint of over flooding in Awadhi area during rainy season. DM assured Mrs Semwal of speedy action in the matter. CDO Prashant Kumar Arya, SDM Devendra Singh Negi, Senior treasurer Himani Snehi, Chief Agriculture officer Mahidhar Singh Tomar, Chief Education Officer RC Arya and other officials were present on the occasion.
