MUSSOORIE, June 1

Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India Prakash Javadekar on reaching Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) at Mussoorie, on Friday addressed the IAS trainees during the conclusion of the HRD workshop here.

 He also discussed about school and higher education with the officials and IAS trainees on the occasion. The state higher education minister Dhan Singh Rawat was present on the occasion. Earlier he reached at St. Georges Helipad and from there he headed straight to Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy. Later speaking to the media persons he said that from past three days the discussion were being held on the changes in the school education and higher education. He said that a work plan will be created to improve the level of education in the country.

He said it is for the first time in the history that the results of the government schools are better which is indicative of the fact that the quality of government schools is improving. He said following the work done by Modi government in field of education the education institutions are getting the weightage in international stage. He said that the attitude of the people towards educational institutions has changed and a big change will be visible in ranking in near future.
