Mussoorie, May 6

The inclement weather once again acted as a dampener  affecting the outdoor shooting  of the Bollywood film “Student of the Year 2”at Bhatta Village near Mussoorie on Sunday.

The Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey starrer film shooting is going at Bhatta Village from past few days at the sets specially created for the occasion. Several dance and song scenes have been filmed so far but the intermittent rains accompanied with spell of squall from past two days have put the film shooting schedule out of gear for the director.

The camera and lighting crew were at the receiving end as due to gushing wind it became difficult to control the camera and other lighting equipment on Sunday.

However, the star cast including Tiger Shroff found time to rehearse their roles indoor and the outdoor shooting resumed only after 3.00 pm where a  stunt shot of Tiger Shroff jumping off from the roof top of the house of Dilip Singh Rawat who has rented it for the shooting purpose could be completed, on Sunday. Some scenes were shot around 6.00 pm at Lal Tibba near Language School.

The film shooting at Bhatta has created a buzz with tourists making a beeline for the location site to catch a glimpse of their favourite actors namely Tiger Shroff and Ananya Pandey. However, their desire could not be fulfilled as they were stopped by the security guards from reaching the sets.

According to the sources following the film shooting of “Student of the year 2” another film shooting starring Akshay Kumar is scheduled next at Bhatta Village.

The film crew of the Film titled Kesari has already done a reconnaissance of the location earlier.

The residents of Bhatta village are elated at their village fast emerging a film shooting destination and said that with more film units coming here will help in generating added income for the locals.
