Meeting held to discuss on ways to improve traffic situation in Mussoorie

MUSSOORIE, April 13

A meeting chaired by Police station incharge Bhavna Kainthola was held at hotel to discuss the ways to improve the traffic condition during summer tourist season in Mussoorie. The officials from Hotel Association, Taxi Union and Trader’s Association discussed on the ways to improve traffic situation so that tourists are not caught in the frequent traffic jams witnessed during peak tourist season.

The police station incharge Bhavna Kainthola advised the people to adhere to the traffic laws as they would be imposed in the town during tourist season strictly. She said that the vehicular movement on the Mall road all day long should be curbed immediately. She advised the traders to arrange their goods in such a way that the tourist do not have to face any problem during their stay in Mussoorie. She urged the taxi union members not to park their vehicles in haphazard manner and park them at some appropriate place where traffic movement is not hindered. Uttarakhand Hotel Association president Sandeep Sahni, Trader Association president Rajat Agarwal, secretary Javed Khan, Jagjit Kukreja, Sundar Singh Panwar, Bharat Kumai, Satish Juneja, Yogesh Khumrial, B.L. Bharti and others were present on the occasion.
