DEHRADUN, April 2
Anugrah Narayan Singh has been made Uttarakhand incharge of Congress.
Though, Anugrah lost his Allahabad North Assembly seat in the wake of Modi wave in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election to Harshvardhan Bajpai of Bhartiya Janata Party, he has been a four time MLA from this seat.
Anugrah has been also been president Allahabad University Students Union. He is Bachelor of Arts in 1969 and LLB from Allahabad University, which he passed out in the year 1972.
Congress National President Rahul Gandhi on Monday announced Anugrah as the new Congress incharge for Uttarakhand. He replaces senior congress leader Ambika Soni. Soni had in recent times expressed her intention to quit congress incharge posts for Uttarakhand and Himachal.
