27 complaints registered 15 expedited during Janta Darbaar held at Rudraprayag

27 complaints were registered out of which 15 were expedited at the site during the Janta Darbar held at old Vikas Bhavan that was presided by District Magistrate Rudraprayag Mangesh Ghildyal on Tuesday.

The DM Rudraprayag, directed the officials to present the compliance report of the complaints filed during Janta Darbar proceedings within one week. The president of Sadak Nirman Sangarsh Samiti village Sabha-Sweeli Bhardaar, Krishnanand Dimri said that the 2.5 km long  Sem-Dugri motor road was sanctioned in the year 2012-13 but five years later there is no sign of any work on the road. DM Rudprayag directed the PWD executive engineer to inspect the area  within one week and do the needful. Another complainant Shurbir Singh Khanda raised the issue of acute water crisis  in the Kankhaal village under  gram panchayat Mathgaon Bhardaar to which the DM directed the Jalsansthan officials to investigate the matter. The villagers from gram sabha Dharkot raised the issue of absence of the hanging bridge linking Gram Panchayat Nagpur and Dhanpur Patti and also demanded to construct road from National highway  at Ratura to Dharkot during the Janta Darbaar. The District Magistrate directed the executive Engineer World Bank and executive engineer PWD Rudraprayag to initiate action according to the laid down guidelines. Madho Ram resident of Bhetsen Narayan Koti demanded the ownership right for the land to which DM directed the SDM Ukhimath to inspect the said land physically and present the report.

Kavita Devi, resident of Shrikot said that she has not received her disability certificate yet to which DM directed the chief medical officer to do the needful without any delay.

The residents of Anusuchit Jati Basti Udyog Nagar demanded a stand post at Bavai Dhangda Tok for regular supply of drinking water. DM in this matter directed the Jal Sansthan Executive Engineer to the needful within one week. The CDO DR Joshi, Project Director NS Rawat, Thesildar Ukhimath Jairam Badhani and other officials were present on the occasion.
