Shraddha Kapoor the heartthrob of tinsel town, who is in Uttarakhand for the shooting of film Batti Gul Meter Chalu stopped by for a moment on her way to Dehradun from New Tehri, at All Season Restaurant, near JP Bend in Mussoorie around 5.00 pm, much to the delight of her fans, on Tuesday.
The fans were in for a pleasant surprise as they saw Shraddha Kapoor boarding out of the vehicle. She went inside the restaurant and was served with Maggi enjoying it thoroughly said one of her fan Santosh Thapli.
Shraddha Kapoor, on request readily agreed for a selfie much to the delight of Santosh Thapli. He said Shraddha Kapoor following her short munch left for Dehradun where she is schedule to continue her shooting for the film at Forest Research Institute. According to sources some scenes of the film will also be shot in Mussoorie in near future.
Shraddha Kapoor, has earned, a huge fan base during her shooting at New Tehri and other locales of the state.
The fans said that her character of Aarohi from Aashiqui 2 where she plays a small-town girl has won hearts across the nation.
The unit has been shooting in Tehri district of Uttarakhand with Shraddha, Divyendu, Shahid and joining in first phase of the shooting.
The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is produced by Prenrnaa Arora. The film is about social issue of electricity shortage that is faced by the small-town people on regular basis.
The film is slated to release on August 31. Following the film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha and PadMan, Kriaraj Entertainment is back with yet another interesting project Batti Gul Meter Chalu, starring Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. This is the second film of Shahid and Shraddha together first being Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider which was released in 2014.
It is to be noted that her Father ace, villain Shakti Kapoor has been frequent visitor to Mussoorie during his childhood. During his earlier visit to the hill town of Mussoorie, he was all praise the town and its salubrious environment. He then talked about his stay at Sylverton Hotel and his visit to Picture Palace. Both the places have faded away in oblivion to give way to new structures.
According to sources Shakti Kapoor was looking for a house and searched for land around Mussoorie and Doon Valley, during his last visit to the town which has not materialized yet.
