Citizens urged to utilize Digital Locker

The E-District Director Pauri Prakash Singh has appealed to the people to utilize the services of the digital Locker being provided under the Digital India project being run by Government of India.

In a press not released on Tuesday he said that with this service the consumers will not have to carry the burden of big files and documents as these will be secured in digital format under the project. The possibilities of these files being hacked were minimal. The E-District  director  said that this service being run by government of India is very important in this digital age and it can be availed online too. Following the registration of these documents digitally the consumers can keep their documents safe in the digital lockers and can download it using their mobile phone, Computer, Laptop etc. from anywhere in the country, he added.

Presently the services of driving license, Vehicle registration, NEET exams under CBSE, 10th and 12th mark sheets, passing certificate etc are being run under this scheme while eight services under the scheme are being run by the Uttarakhand government, for the benefit of the people. More departments will be linked with this project in future.
