Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat said the Union Budget 2018-19 reflects a clear vision for new India and also presents a road map for better health services, quality education and increasing the income of farmers.
In his first reactions after presentation of Union Budget 2018-19 by Modi government, Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Rawat said several of initiatives in the union budget will greatly benefit Uttarakhand particularly organic farming through development of agriculture clusters.
He said the commitment of providing free electricity connection to as many as 4 crore poverty ridden houses by 2022 was a welcome step. Similarly, providing a house to every individual in the country who is without a house was a step, worth commendable.
He said Union budget has also given a direction to Uttarakhand. “Whatever we will get in the budget, we will utilise for the betterment of common man particularly poor, farmers and women”, Trivendra Rawat said in his budget comments.
