Uttarakhand Kranti Dal president Diwakar Bhatt on Thursday said their party will oppose all projects and schemes that will have Uttar Pradesh’s share in it.

Addressing a press conference in Dehradun on Thursday, UKD President Diwakar Bhatt that the working committee meet of the party has unanimously decided to oppose all those schemes and projects in the state that will have Uttar Pradesh’s share in it.

He said Uttarakhand was still to get justice as far as distribution of assets between Uttarakhand and the parent state of Uttar Pradesh was concerned.

Bhatt alleged that both BJP and Congress were responsible for sorry state of affairs in the state.  He said large number of properties of Uttarakhand were still in possession of Uttar Pradesh.

Referring to other issues discussed at the meet, Diwakar Bhatt said man animal conflict has taken a worst form in the state in recent years and asserted that asserted that the party has demanded to redress of the issue as top most priority.

Making Gairsain permanent capital of Uttarakhand and proper relief to farmers who today are part of rural distress in the state were also discussed at the working committee meet.
