DEHRADUN, Nov 5

One of the senior most active politician of the country, N.D. Tiwari, who has been admitted to hospital for past few days turned serious this evening due to low blood pressure and placed on life support.

He is admitted at Max hospital in Saket New Delhi. Already in his early nineties, N.D. Tiwari has been former Union Minister, former Chief Minister of both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. He suffered brain stroke in September this year following which he was admitted to Intensive Care Unit of New Delhi’s Max Hospital in Saket. Since then he was being given treatment. But his condition turned from bad to worse on Sunday.

After serving Congress throughout his life, N.D. Tiwari joined BJP recently. He was external affairs minister during later PM Rajiv Gandhi government. He was chief minister of Uttar Pradesh on number of occasion. He also become chief minister of first elected government of Uttarakhand.
