MUSSOORIE, Sept 28

Shramdan and Cleanliness Campaign  under Swacch Bharat Mission  was carried out around surroundings around Lal Bhadur Shastri National Academy of Administration Mussoorie in which 83 senior IAS trainees of Phase V, 369 Officer Trainees of 92nd Foundation Course along with Faculty Members of LBSNAA took part, today.

The campaign started at 7 AM from Lal Bhadur Shastri National Academy of Administration where  the IAS trainees and officers started the cleaning campaign  places nearby Academy. Sridhar, Deputy Director and curse coordinator at the academy  said that it is continuance of the cleanliness mission which is being carried out in the country.

The senior officers and trainee officers of the academy took part  in different phases with the help of the municipality Mussoorie.  The officials gathered in the academy premises under Phase-5 to collect garbage in heavy quantities. Cleanliness was carried out on the Library, Happy Valley, Dhobi Ghat Marg, under Academy Sanitation Campaign. IAS Trainee Diwakar Nath, Rahul, Kili, Vandana, Municipal Council Delhi, Naresh Kumar etc., under the Foundation Course, emphasized on making Clean India Mission successful through cleanliness drive that was launched  released the Sanitation Campaign on Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.

The IAS trainees who came from Bhutan also participated in the campaign.
